Pitaya, also known as dragon fruit, is rich with health benefits. If you’re looking to feel fresh and energized, this fruit is a wonderful source of nutrients. Pitaya Plus makes it incredibly easy to incorporate the plant power into your smoothies, cocktails and more.
The History of Pitaya Plus
Pitaya Plus’ founder, Chuck Casano, fell in love with dragon fruit back in 2008. He was working at a non-profit in Nicaragua and eating pitaya daily, which led to him feeling revitalized. As his time abroad was coming to an end, he knew he had to figure out how he’d continue to enjoy dragon fruit back in the United States. After seeing the conditions in Nicaragua during his stay, which included many single mothers living in poverty, as well as damaged land from earthquakes and war, he came up with a plan. Teaming up with co-founder Ben Hiddlestone, Pitaya Plus was born. The company would go on to share the wonders of dragon fruit with the world and give back to the Nicaraguan community while doing so.
