Smash Foods (5)

Smash Foods believes food should be fun, stress-free & delicious. It shouldn’t be filled with unfamiliar ingredients, confusion over nutrition or concern for where it came from. Additionally, good food - food that is good for you physically and emotionally - can, and should taste good. When all these things are true, we make the right choice and, it’s an easy one! Stay simple & Smash it.

When Smash Foods was starting out, they decided to create products with less sugar than the average jam, jelly, or preserve and came up with something new: a smash.

The History of Smash Foods

When co-founder Anna Peck learned about the FDA sugar requirements in 2018, she was working on developing a recipe that wouldn’t require added sugar to taste amazing. She also wanted to reap as much nutrition as possible, so she added chia seeds to the mix. After teaming up with Steven Ford, the pair launched Smash Foods as a jam alternative featuring upcycled fruit and an incredibly short ingredients list.
