Whether you’re looking for a sweet or savory snack to tide you over during a long day, Spudsy has you covered. The company harnesses the superfood power of sweet potatoes and uses it in a whole new way - that’s both allergen- and gluten-free.
The History of Spudsy
Spudsy was founded by Ashley Boeckle, a veteran of the healthy foods world who cut her teeth as a co-founder of the nationwide protein nut butter brand Buff Bake. She realized there was a disconnect between the number of sweet potatoes being produced and those being used, and whipped up a healthy snack that could help fill the gap.
Just like that, Spudsy was born!
Spudsy Company Mission
Spudsy works to cut down on global food waste by using sweet potato powder sourced from the millions of pounds of sweet potatoes that get thrown out for being “imperfect” in appearance.
Once sweet potato powder is manufactured, it’s combined with simple ingredients like rice flour, pea protein, and tapioca starch to create the Spudsy “Base Blend,” a versatile mix that works great with a variety of flavors, ranging from cinnamon to barbeque.
