Why You’ll Love It

The perfect gift for any coffee addict, this CoffeeSock DIY Kit can make half a half-gallon of rich, robust cold brew within six to 18 hours. To make your own ColdBrew at home (and save tons of cash in the long-run), follow these instructions: Boil new filters in fresh water to clean and shrink for 10 minutes. Fit ColdBrew filter over lip of wide-mouthed canning jar. Add desired amount of coarsely ground coffee. Wet (bloom) the dry coffee and let set for 30 seconds, allowing the water to fully penetrate the coffee grounds from the center. Add filtered water very slowly to fill. Close filter by gathering the top of fabric together, wrapping the strap around the gathered neck of the filter, and passing it through the attached ring. Times vary with volume of brew and ambient temperature. Warmer temperatures and shorter brew times yield a brighter and less extracted brew, while long cold soaks produce rich and smooth brews. Included in this set is a 64 ounce Mason...

The gift that keeps on giving

I bought this as a Christmas present for a family member, and they absolutely adore it! super easy to use & brews up some delicious, not at all bitter cold brew coffee that tastes heavenly over ice with a splash of unsweetened almond milk!

Easiest way to cold brew!

I began making cold brew because it's low-acid (easy on the stomach) & my husband loves iced coffee. I've tried MANY cold-brew methods & they all are very time consuming, as well as make a mess! I'm so happy I found this product because it's so easy to use & clean up. Fill the "sock" with coarse coffee grounds (a conical grinder is really essential as you don't get any fine coffee powder to clog up the filter) and then put water in & let soak overnight. Lift the "sock" out & let drain. Dump the grounds & rinse out the sock. Store the coffee in the same jar in the fridge. No extra pitchers, strainers/filters, bowls or clean up! I make a strong brew using 2 cups of ground coffee. Also if you want hot coffee just add boiling water to your cup in the morning. My only complaint is the video at showing how to use this product as it isn't detailed enough for a novice cold-brewer (I've learned a lot from trial & error). Thank you Thrive for making my coffee life easier!
