Why You’ll Love It

Unlike most onion ring snacks that are made with corn meal, Dang’s onion chips are made from nutrient-dense, antioxidant-rich whole onions. Onions have been touted nature’s original superfood and have been shown to decrease the risk of certain cancers as well as reduce inflammation and lower the risk of asthma. In case you needed another reason to rip a bag open and try them for yourself: Dang’s sliced onion chips just so happen to be impossible-to-resist with their caramelized crisp and sea salt seasoning.

About This Brand

Dang is named after my mother, who grew up eating food from some of the best chefs in the world: Bangkok’s street vendors. One day, she passed on her recipe for Thai Lettuce Wraps just like she used to have as a college student. I found myself involuntarily snacking on one of the ingredients - Toasted Coconut. It had a strong, sweet aroma and a very satisfying crunch. I immediately called my family, who have been importing goods to the US for more than 30 years, and with that, our company was born. Dang’s motto is “Dang, that's good!" We are forging ahead fast, bringing you unconventional culinary delights from around the globe. Yum

We enjoyed them as a snack and I put some into soup. It's almost like chip and dip without all the calories. Also the high carbs are from the onions themselves, no other ingredients besides salt.

Absolutely delicious

I love these!! I love the slight caramelized sweetness. I think this would be a fun way to coat chicken and make some GF chicken fingers. Or perhaps a topping for casserole.

- Emily

Amazing

One of the best crispy snacks I have ever eaten-must have ordered 10 bags by now!

- Leslie

Okay

I did not know what to expect when I ordered these. I somewhat liked them but due to the high carb content will not order them again.

- Tanisha

So good

Soooooo good!

Aggressive... In a good way

Tasty, but definitely onion all up in your face. Which is good, because you don't have the urge to kill the bag in one sitting. Very nice dipped in plain sour cream.

- Kimberly

Unbelievably delicious

I do not know how they manage to crisp up an onion to become an amazing crunchy snack but they nailed it. I Recommend ordering two bags each shipment

One word... YUM!

If you like onions you'll love these chips. They taste like onion rings, but don't get confused and think they'll be like Funions, I'll never eat one of those again now that I've had these delicious chips!

Not for the "faint of heart"!

These are, without a doubt, made from real onions. I had hoped they would be made from milder, sweeter onions that many of us truly love. These, alas, are made from exceptionally strong onions. Cooking onions usually releases the sulfuric acid (the substance that makes us cry and gives onions their strong flavor), but these are like eating slices of raw onions, and not the mild ones, either! If you treasure those lovely, sweet onions like the ones grown in Vidalia, Georgia or named for Maui, Hawaii, skip these.

Wow, I know why they are called "Dang". These chips are very sweet, tasty and crunchy as well. I definitely said "Dang, these are good!" when I tried them. PS, a little goes a long way so mix them with other foods such as Terra Chips or as a salad topping:)

Great as Sandwich Topper

Tastes like a fresh onion. Very crunchy and flavorful. After eating just a few we soon realized this would be a great topping for our BBQ burgers and not so much as a potato chip because a person can only eat so many onions.

- Andrea

I love these

From the first bite these are one of my favorite things ever-recently ordered 3 more bags just to munch on!!

Sea Salt Crispy Sliced Onion Chips

These are to die for!

- Jean

better than regular chips

These onion chips were great, my only issue was the stay fresh packet, it was the same size as the onion chips, and I accidently bit into it as I was watching TV and not paying attention. My suggestion would be to make the packet bigger so it would stand out.

Pungent!

You have to REALLY like onions (which I DO!) to like these chips. They are very pungent and taste almost like eating a raw onion (except for the texture). The taste lasts in your mouth for awhile, so eat sparingly! Don't expect the taste to be comparable to French's® French Fried Onions; they are much stronger. But good! I may try using them as a topping on some recipes, like vegetables or casseroles.
