Not just a snack
I dice it and add to soup or scrambled eggs, great flavour!
Another delicious flavor
Love the epic product line

Good Protein Boost
These are the best tasting bars of the Epic line. Unlike other Epic bars, these are quite moist and have a nice mix of meat to fruit. They are expensive (even with the Thrive discount) but if you're trying to avoid high-glycemic snacks and/or need protein throughout the day, these are a good value. The bars are small and light making them easy to store in a handbag, rucksack, etc.
My 2 and 4 year olds love these. Definitely kid approved in our household.
I like Lamb
It's nice to have the choice of lamb instead of just beef or chicken. These are a little sweet for my taste, but they may be fine for someone else. You can't please everyone. But I will probably buy again.

These taste like lamb. That might bother some people, but it's completely delicious, and the sweetness of currants and little hint of mint work beautifully.
- Sarah Harvin
I enjoy Epic bars and usually get the other flavors. I like lamb, so I thought I'd give these a shot - but they are much too sweet for me. I don't get any savory flavor which was disappointing.
Delicious Meat Bars! Awesome!!
I've tried other Epic Meat Bars and eat them pretty regularly, but Epic Currant Mint Lamb Bars are the bomb-diggity! I was so surprised! They are the best Epic has offered so far. Slightly piquant, great chew, healthy, portable...I am a fan and highly recommend this product. I will be buying more (once I finish the other 2 cases of meat bars.)
currant Mint Lamb
My husband is active duty Army and I'm a nursing mom, so I wanted something that could act as a quick meal replacement or on-the-go snack for both of us. I ordered two kinds of the Epic bar. I loved the lamb mint! My husband took them into the field with him and he (and a colleague) preferred the bison. Otherwise I'd give these five stars. Will definitely order these again.
I LOVE THESE BARS!
After I read the nutritional information posted here, I ordered three cases of EPIC bars. WOW. They are so much better in every way than those silly bars that masquerade as healthy but are actually not much more than candy. These have a very delicious adult-style taste. I am on a variation of the Paleo diet and I am now habitually using these bars as my go-to afternoon snack. Much better than jerky!
Surprising in many ways
Sweet, savory, and refreshing combination. I expected them to be drier, but they have a juiciness to them. They are definitely filling and will keep you energized and feeling full for a few hours in between meals. I also complemented light dinners with them. I want to try other flavors before switching to another type of bar.
My favorite flavor of the Epic Bars! Delicious, moist, grass-fed, and a great/convenient alternative to conventional protein bars.
This is clearly a polarizing product. I wanted to love it - I love lamb - but pretty much everything is wrong with it. The lamb is over-processed and is like a paste. The spices are just "off". I love fat, but the combination of lamb fat and coconut oil leaves a disgusting greasy slick on the roof of your mouth. Kudos for producing what cooers to be a healthy product, but save your money and stick with the bison.
Just Lamb - and Good
Epic has such a great thing going. While I'm not as fond of their Mint Lamb as I am of some of their other varieties, this is still a good eat. They are made so pure that I never feel bad about grabbing one of these instead of sitting down to make an entire meal. The bars are a bit dry, but they aren't rubbery, and they just taste like a good, somewhat-dry version of the meat itself. It's pretty good.

My local co-op stopped carrying any type of Paleo protein that I can easily throw in my gym bag, so I was happy when I logged on to place my wife's order that this popped up. They fit into my Paleo diet really well, and they are perfectly sized for an after-gym protein snack before I make it home to make something more sizeable. Plus, the packaging is pretty neat, and it's always easy to find them in my gym bag.

These are really good! Just the right balance of sweet to compliment the lamb. Wonderful for that midday hunger that's Paleo friendly.
Not for Non-Paleo People
I thought these would be a good median between jerky and a protein bar but the surprisingly small bar has an overtly processed smell and taste reminiscent of what I think stale dog food would taste like. There is no mint, nor currant; just a homogenous proto-culinary mush. If you're full Paleo, give them a try, but if you're just starting the Paleo lifestyle or are simply looking for a healthier alternative to your current protein bar supplement, steer clear.
My kids love these
We've tried all the flavors and my kids love the lamb bar. Such an easy food to send in school lunches and feel good about them eating something nutritious.
I love Epic Bars but this one was much too sweet. So sweet that I couldn't finish my box.
I like lamb, so I enjoyed the taste of these. The fruit was odd at first, but once I adjusted to that, they're quite yummy! The mint was not overpowering--I hardly tasted it. Just a hint of mint. :)
This is where I get my protein from when I need energy. I love to have these bars around when I am working out to help me get through the day and to give me the energy to keep going.
It's an interesting flavor, but you really get used to it after a couple bites.

I was a little adamant to try these out in the beginning. I am not a huge lamb fan, but I do like it sometimes. The mint and currant mix also seemed like something completely strange.
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them. The lamb is pretty good and the mint only enhances its flavor. The currant adds a sweetness to it.

These bars are, well, different. I am always up to trying things once, but I am not sure I will try them again. The lamb flavor was extremely strong in these bars and I wasn't a fan. I did like the hints of mint. I'm just not sure if a bar made of meat is for me.

Trying something New
I am always up to trying something new. I like jerky, so when I saw these, I wanted to give them a try. Now, they are nothing like jerky at all. These are meat bars and I gotta say, they are really good! I love game meats and lamb as well, so the meat flavor was nothing new to me and they really had great lamb flavor. I like the hints of mint and other seasonings in this bar and also that it makes me full and satisfied for quite a while. I like to replace my lunch with one of these on occasion because they are filling but aren't dry like jerky and have amazing flavor.

Quality Control Concerns
These are delicious bars - most of the time. I really love the taste, and they have this great mixture between "too chewy" and "too tough". They mastered walking that thin line, and it makes them a pleasure to eat. Unfortunately, at the same time, sometimes things seem to slip through their quality control and into the bars. Once in awhile, I'll bite into something hard that has to be spit out, and honestly, it's gross. This has only happened in two bars out of 40, though, so it's not common, but I wish it didn't happen at all. If EPIC could make sure all their bars were gross-things-free, I'd be eating them daily.

A protein packed meal
Grass fed meat is so much better and cleaner than the regular kind. You don't taste the fullness of hormones and chemicals, just the natural meat and clean flavor the way it's meant to be.
EPIC makes meat bars for people who want something other than jerky. The lamb is a strong entry into their collection, and Thrive makes it affordable too. They offer a a12-pack for almost five dollars less than Amazon. As they saying goes, membership does have its privileges.

Paleo friendly meat bar
I've had EPIC's bison bar before, so I'm familiar with the company's all natural reputation. They are paleo friendly and organic, a great combination.
This lamb has a stronger flavor than the bison in my opinion, but you have to like that gamey sort of scent that comes with lamb to really enjoy this. Meat bars are a new kind of product, nowhere near as dry as jerky, and a great, protein packed snack.
- Willie McBride
I love these bars! My favorite is the turkey cranberry. I hadn't had lamb in many, many years, but after a recent lamb-laden trip to Turkey, I decided to try this kind. It's surprisingly good, and moist. Will try again.
