A Good, Simple Alternative to Whey/Soy Supplements
I switched to a non-dairy, non-soy protein on advice of my naturopath, due to IBS sensitivities. This seemed like a sensible choice, without the 'bells and whistles', just a simple protein supplement for my fresh/frozen fruit & veggie smoothies. It does the trick, less irritating to my system than whey or soy proteins. Still a bit of grit, as with other protein supplements, but I've not found any supplement that does not have some 'sandiness' to it. This seems to have less than the average protein supplement, and blends in easily with no lumps or unevenness. Over all, a good buy.

Great basic protein
Terrific in smoothies
Good "bang" for your buck!
Great source of vegan protein at a very reasonable price. I like both the taste and texture. Of coarse I'm a person who puts chia seeds in my smoothies, so a grainy texture doesn't bother me.
ok - not great
I was hopeful that this protein powder would not be gritty, but it is. Even when added to a shake in my vitamix blender, it is still gritty. Wish I could find a non soy protein powder that is not gritty.
This protein is great. I am glad it's gluten free because it's easier on my digestive system. It mixes well into just about anything and I sometimes sneak it into my sauces and gravy's for an extra boost of protein.

A little Grainy, but great
This powder is a little grainy, even when using my ninja, but otherwise it is fantastic! I mix it in my gravy's and smoothies for extra protein and really like it in my reeses shakes.

I've been using this protein powder in my green smoothies and it's very neutral in flavor, which is a good thing (I've also been only using half a serving size). The only thing is that I can taste the texture difference (a tad grainy?), even though I have an amazing high-powdered blender...so if you only have a standard blender and want to use this in your smoothie, I'm not sure how well it'll blend. It might make the texture quite grainy.
I would certainly recommend this product
I would certainly recommend this product as it is a rice protein supplement that can be mixed with any food to add protein to it. I also give it to my little son by mixing it in his soup and juice as he is underweight and needs to put on some healthy weight. Being flavorless, it is easy to add it into anything and it will adapt that flavor. People with special dietary needs can use this product too but I would suggest doctor’s recommendation to avoid any problems as I am not physician.
