Reviews For Roasted Walnut Oil

Great taste

I love this oil. Mixed with ACV it makes a great simple salad dressing. Also black walnut oil has good stuff for you and helps with Candida.

- Laura Tull

I am obsessed with this oil now, I try to put it on everything I can, but especially salads. It has a great nutty taste. I was addicted to this poppy seed dressing and trying to substitute it with olive oil but I just didn't enjoy my salads anymore. Anyway, I tried this instead with Thrive ACV and love it.

Roasted Walnut Oil

This is one of my favorite products. I absolutely love this woodsy type taste. I cook with it and use as a dressing for pasta. But honestly, I take a spoonful and just eat it. Its good for my brain and I just love it!

- Leslie Dickerson

This stuff is delicious! Toasty and flavorful. A small can so order 2!

Great Oil Horrible Bottle

Oil is delicious and lives up to a great product. Be very careful opening the top. I spilled some. Very difficult and once you pull the tab, awkward to pour out without spilling . A terrible design. Have no idea why they'd chose such a container. You could easily over pour, spill it, waste it.

they should design it so you can just use drops or a thin flow.

- Felice

I use this to season my cast iron pan (after cleaning it with stainless steel chainmail - tip from America's Test Kitchen) and it keeps the nonstick surface fabulously. I enjoy licking my fingers after application - it's delicious! :)

Rich yummy taste

Tastes great, use it in my oats. Cant wait to make black walnut ice cream or cookies with it.

Move over Olive Oil

I purchased this on a whim and boy am I glad I did. I used the walnut oil in place of olive oil in salad dressings and marinades. It has a smoother, nuttier flavor. I always make homemade dijon and my husband asked what I did differently because it tasted so much better. Highly recommend walnut oil.

Love this oil!

I really like this walnut oil and I've ordered it twice. The only problem I had with it were that the cans in the second shipment were dented. They must have been packed like that because Thrive does an excellent job in their packing to protect containers.

So good

Best oil for dressing

I LOVE this oil. It is light, nutty, full bodied and easy to work with.
It whisked up nicely for the salad dressing I made (from the recipe on the back of the can).
I wish it came in a larger size though.
My family loved the salads I made with this oil too. It's not bitter like some nut oils.

Great instead of olive oil

Olive oil is great, but I wanted a different flavor, and I noticed Thrive had this for a great price, so I bought my first bottle last month, and I love it. It's not exactly what I expected, maybe I thought it would have a stronger walnut taste, but it really doesn't. It's more of a hint of that nutty flavor of walnut, but it also has that slight bitterness that makes dishes interesting, especially if you use it in salad dressing like I do, or if you use it to add more heft to a dip or in a tuna or chicken salad.

The oil is loaded with Omega 3, good unsaturated fats and it's hand roasted before it's filtered. It's a great oil with multiple uses, as good or better than olive oil or coconut oil.

Rich tasting flavor

This walnut oil is fantastic, and you can use it on just about anything you would use olive oil for, including pasta dishes, poured over a salad, popcorn or to marinade fish or beef before you grill it in the oven or on a barbecue. The walnut flavor is the best part of this oil, it's unique and rich, and it doesn't overpower the food you're cooking, so it's more subtle and interesting, sort of takes a few seconds before you palate gets that deep flavor, but it really makes ordinary food come alive in your mouth.

Paleo Mayo

This product is great for making homemade paleo mayo! More affordable than avocado oil or light olive oil.

Great oils for salad dressing

The roasted nut oils by this company are divinely delicious. Their basic vinaigrette recipe, on the back of each can, is easy to make and presents a nice compliment to the salad ingredients - it does not overpower. I have enjoyed the walnut and hazelnut oils.
