Why You’ll Love It

We are very blessed to be able to provide some of the best Dulse in the world! It's no wonder this is our most popular sea vegetable. Whole Leaf Dulse is soft and chewy, with a distinctive taste and a rich red color. It doesn't require any soaking or cooking, which makes it a great snack to be enjoyed right out of the bag. It's a colorful salad ingredient; is tasty in soups; zesty when fried and boosts the flavor of any sandwich creation.

About This Brand

Offering eight organically certified North Atlantic sea vegetable varieties. Our company was born in 1971 over a pot of seaweed miso soup in the kitchen of Linnette and Shep Erhart overlooking Hog Bay in Franklin. They had just harvested and cooked their first alaria fronds and found the soup delicious! News of the discovery spread to friends... and they told their friends…From two people producing 200 pounds in 1971, there are now about 40 of us handling around 100,000 pounds of sea vegetables annually. Another 18 year-round crew sort, pack, and market our sea veggies at our plant in Franklin, Maine. We offer eight organically certified North Atlantic varieties: alaria, dulse, kelp, laver, sea lettuce, irish moss, rockweed and bladderwrack. They are harvested directly from their beds at low tides, dried at low temperatures by sun, wood or forced hot air, (some are milled) and then packaged. We also import well-tested Organic Nori sheets from China.Mission StatementOur mission is...

Reviews For Dulse - Whole Leaf

Based on 8 Reviews

I love this stuff...it's great in all kinds of things where you want a little salty umami. I also liked it with cheese and crackers, with mackerel, in stir fries, and just plain.

- Andrew

I enjoy this just for snacking!

Tasty product, my two-year-old grandson asks for it my name, "Sea-weed, more sea-weed" ... just too cute, so I'm picking up some more!

- Debra

Wonderful addition to my favorite foods

Whether I soak it first or use it right out of the bag, Dulse adds a unique and tasty flavor to my veggie sandwiches. It is not too salty or "sea-tasting." Yum.

Love dulse!

This is the best food in the world for people but especially great for people with Lyme!

I love this seaweed - so much that I have to limit myself or I end up getting a stomach ache. This stuff is so so good!! Full of good minerals too, so it's guilt free!

Excellent Dulse

This Dulse is very fresh, salty and tasty. You can enjoy it by itself or enhance stir-frys, spring rolls, or salads. I'm back to order again; therefore, get two now so you don't run out!
