Why You’ll Love It

McClure's brings you their great grandmother's famous dill pickles. Their garlic dills have a strong sour taste complemented by notes of garlic and dill. During the summer months, you will notice flowering dill in the jars, which, due to the pollen on the flowers, adds fennel-like subtleties.

About This Brand

In 2006, using our great grandmother Lala's recipe, we started McClure's Pickles after years of making pickles in our tiny Michigan kitchen. We learned how to make the pickles from our grandfather and parents and now we continue the tradition with a bit more room. We make the pickles, relish, bloody mary mix and other McClure's products in Detroit, Michigan. In Brooklyn we have a small marketing, sales and order management office. We use as much local produce as possible when it is in season and when it's not, we call up the farms and speak directly with the growers to know where our produce is coming from and how it is being grown making sure we are getting some of the best, freshest produce available. Every jar is hand packed by one of our talented team members. We’re happy that after so many years, we can bring our family recipe, to yours.

Reviews For Garlic Spears Pickles

Based on 20 Reviews

So. Good.

These pickles are full of flavor - not too spicy but definitely pack a nice kick. I chopped some up and added them to some deviled eggs the other day for my family and they were gone in minutes! So I enjoy them with other foods and as a stand alone snack. Recommend.

I'm in love with these pickles!

Best I've tasted so far. They are pricey but worth the $. Once the pickles are gone I eat the garlic cloves and drink the juice. Yum!

One of the best

These are by far one of the best pickles I've ever had. The only "better" ones were farmed from my parents garden and pickled at home. Delicious, but a bit pricey I must admit.

- Ilona

I first found these at TJMaxx and loved them from the first bite.

Best Pickles Ever

Really not much else to say. Out of all the pickle varieties I've tried, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the simple ingredients did not take away from it's quality. fresh and tasty, these are literally the best pickles I've ever had.

The only thing I'd like to see are some pickles whose sourness comes naturally from fermentation rather than vinegar.

These are the BEST pickles I have ever eaten!! I was so disappointed yesterday when I discovered Costco discontinued them, but THRIVE came to my rescue!! These are by far the BEST and ONLY pickles I will ever buy!

I love dill pickles and was excited to try these. They were not good at all. My son, who also loves dill pickles wouldn't eat them either. I ended up throwing them out. If you want a GREAT dill pickle try Bubbies!!!

5 stars

Our granddaughters love these age 1 1/2 and 3. There mom says it's the first pickles that don't break there faces out. So great news. They ask for them every time the come see us.

- Tamara

Only thing missing, "organic"...

- Denne

Best pickles I've ever tasted.

Crunchy, salty and strongly sour....Perfect!

Crunchy, salty and strongly sour and aromatic – the garlic spears pickles are the best and take me back to my youth when my mom loved to eat pickles and tried every brand to make sure she was getting the best. The combined taste of garlic and dill produce a sour taste that not everyone likes so make sure to test a bit before going for more. I like it a lot as my family has been an avid pickle lover for centuries.
