About This Brand

Organic specialty fruit and vegetable products grown on Mediterranean farms. Gourmets have always known that the best flavored fruits and vegetables come from the Mediterranean. This is true, in part, to the high mineral content of the volcanic soils, the sunny climate and the water from deep wells. It is also true, we believe, because this produce has always been grown organically with natural compost rather than chemicals. The dry weather contributes to low insect populations during the growing season so the farmers produce without chemical pesticides. The specialty fruit and vegetable products that Mediterranean Organic offers are made by artisans in small batches with the objective of producing the finest taste. We are proud to bring them to you and your family to enjoy.Eating Mediterranean Organic's flavorful foods is like eating sunshine! All of our products are grown on Mediterranean farms, orchards, and groves in a climate that is hot, dry, and sunny, and the soils are fertile...

Reviews For Gourmet Red Peppers - Fire Roasted

Based on 12 Reviews

Perfect !

Hard to find organic peppers, so glad I found these! Not too charred tasting, which is a problem with other brands.

- Jenn Lee

fire roased red peppers

While I find Thrive products outstanding, these peppers are not. They were too mushy and tasteless.

- Kenneth

Surprised by the Spice

I was surprised by the spice/heat these had when I used them in a slow cooker paleo chili. It ended up being too spicy for me to consume and this was the only ingredient I added that could have added the heat. My husband loved it and said the heat was just right - he always orders his foods 3-4 star.

Far superior to other brands

These peppers are literally perfect: delicious, smoky, slightly sweet...also, organic (hurray!), vegan, gluten free, and free of all the nasty preservatives that are usually in jarred foods. Bravo!

- Katie

Yum

Delicious organic peppers for a great price.

- Celeste

Wow

I have to say I was hesitant about buying bottled peppers, feeling like I should roast fresh peppers myself, but I thought I'd give them a try since they were organic, are almost completely additive free, and to be honest, more convenient. I was more than impressed. The first bite had me immediately thinking, "this is going to be a regular purchase." The pieces are large full or huge half peppers and EXTREMELY flavorful. So great to see organic peppers with almost no preservatives at such a great price! Highly recommend.

Love these

So handy to put on a piece of Ezekial bread with pea shoots, for breakfast or any meal.

meditteranean Organic red roasted peppers

I was so excited to find this product...no chemicals, preservative...just NATURAL ingredients. Living in a small community, our stores do not carry fresh organic red bell peppers...so this is an EXCELLENT ITEM to keep in your storage pantry....the jar is larger then I anticipated...GREAT ITEM...

The Best

This brand produces excellent quality. This jar keeps on giving- just when you think you've pulled the last few one out there's more. Great for grain free cracker recipes, salad, antipasto, uses are endless. Great flavor- sweet, roasted and a little spice(just enough for flavor).

- Anne

Hot and spicy

I love these red peppers. They're awesome added to pizza, calzones, salads and especially in my tomato sauces. They add a great spice and flavor to a lot of my dishes, but it's not an artificial hotness, it comes from organic red peppers that are fire roasted so I taste that great pepper flavor. Thrive's price is so low that it's as good as the peppers at the grocery store, but those aren't organic or as tasty as these.

Flavorful

These peppers are delicious. I add them to salads and cut them up and add them to dishes. They are a great accent for sandwiches and a great addition to my favorite chili recipe. They are always bright, red, and fresh when they come and taste just as fresh as well!

- Stacy Quinn

Best roasted red peppers!

I could not find these peppers when I moved to a new area. I was so glad to find them on Thrive Market. These are the best roasted red peppers, ever! So flavorful and consistent quality every time.
