Reviews For Angel Hair Shirataki Noodle

Forget pasta! Shirataki Noodles are the best!
The Shirataki noodles are a delicious substitute for spaghetti for those on the Paleo Protocol. Low in calories and carbs. You can use the noodles with your favorite pasta sauces. My favorite is heating the noodles with coconut oil and adding Bragg's seasoning. Delicious dish!
Great Pasta Alternative
Better texture than Sea Tangle kelp noodles. However, the serving size is puny. I used 1one bag per serving, not a half!
When you first start trying to eat better, a lot of the substitutes for your old standbys are just not that good. Over time, as your tastes change to align more with a healthy diet, those same substitutes actually seem super good to you. This substitute for pasta however is not that dramatic. It's not half bad when prepared as directed, even for a novice at eating helathy. A bit more trouble to prepare perhaps, but that's a small price to pay to become healthier.
I followed the directions on the bag and they were great!
I had half of them with leftover chicken and garlic sauce and it was really good. The texture was a little like lo mein noodles.
I had the rest with spaghetti sauce and meatballs with shaved parmesan. The texture was a bit like overcooked pasta but still good.
I would like to see bigger portion sizes.
These are easy, fast and tasty. Looking forward to trying them with a little variation.
Nice replacement to pasta! A little stinky when you first open package, once rinsed no smell or flavor. Love product, one draw back, small package, and pretty pricy. Rest of family has to have pasta or glutin-free pasta. Not enough for family. I eat a whole package in one meal.
were great w/shrimp and my home made pesto!
Love these zero calorie noodles. I rinse and drain and dry. Then sautéed in butter and coconut oil. Add some chicken and coconut aminos seasoning sauce and you have a wonderful filling dinner!
Don't be afraid to try Shirataki
These are wonderful in broth. The texture and flavor are very much like the rice noodles found in Vietnamese pho.
I really liked these noodles. I had never tried them before, but was curious. After opening the package, I was apprehensive of the smell but as per the package directions, the smell went away. The only disappointing thing is that they didn't last every long.....because I ate them all! :)
I love these noodles! I gave up gluten which included a lot of pastas. These noodles are a great alternative and, of course, go with anything. The portions are perfect for one person too.
Love, love these!! So excited Thrive carries them now. Don't let the initial smell scare you
this is an interesting noodle, great for low carb meals, flavor is next to nothing so you can add your own sauces or whatever to add taste. Texture is different than traditional starchy noodles, but also fun to eat. I've gotten 3 packages of these here!
A Little Mixed
When opening the package they smell horrible. Don't worry though, it goes away after rinsing and boiling them! Unfortunately my husband and I both have textural issues with them. They are very rubbery. The flavor itself wasn't bad. It took on the flavor of the sauce for the most part. Basically if you don't have a texture problem then these will probably be great for you! I'll probably just stick to my spaghetti squash though.
Did NOT disappoint
I was a little nervous about this product as the texture seemed odd and there was a not so appetizing odor coming out of the bag. But after a good rinse, the noodles absorbed the sauce and were so yummy! I will be ordering these again!
