About This Brand

You see the term “natural” in plenty of places these days, but Nature’s Gate’s products give the term a whole new meaning. Founders Leo and Vladimir turned their vision for this unique company into reality when they hand-collected rainwater, blended it with natural herbs from their herb shop, and created the very first Rainwater Herbal Shampoo approximately 40 years ago. They gave it away to their friends and customers of their store, and soon it became a hit along Venice Beach, California, one day becoming Nature’s Gate. Nature’s Gate intends to combine the power of natural ingredients with innovation and science to create affordable, safe, sustainable, and high quality products. The company is committed to using pure, sustainably harvested herbs, fruits and essential oils—without animal testing or animal-derived ingredients—making all of Nature’s Gate products cruelty free and vegan. Reviews For Chamomile Replenishing Shampoo

Based on 10 Reviews

Nope

Not happy with this shampoo. The scent was not as I thought it would be, not pleasing to my nose at all, it smelled like soap. I had to use it twice (when I washed every other day, and I have an oily scalp), because the first time didn't feel like it washed my hair at all. It also had a rough finished feeling, but using conditioner helped soften and smooth.

Great

My husband loves it. It cleans well and it smells nice

Smells great, might not be best for thick hair

This shampoo is interesting- it has a really thick consistency almost like a gel. Smells really good. Due to the thick consistency I found it difficult to get any kind of lather or even get it evenly distributed through my scalp. I do have extremely thick hair so it may just not be a good match for my hair type.

Gentle

I love the smell and the simpleness of this shampoo.

Nice shampoo

This shampoo cleans my hair very well, even after an oil treatment, and leaves it soft.

A fantastic new favorite!

Nature's Gate is a company who's products never disappoint. The shampoo and conditioners I chose are my newest favorite products from them. Love the way they smell and the way it makes my hair feel.

Revision of previous review

I was wrong. The shampoo is great, it was just the condition that smelled bad (like men's musk). This shampoo lathers (is it supposed to lather?) and you don't need very much at all. It will last a long time.

Great on color treated hair

I bought this because I'd read that it was great on color treated hair. IT works great. I have red dyed hair, and this doesn't harm the color at all. It also has a fantastic smell and treats my hair gently, while also giving it a lot more bounce and shine. It doesn't foam up the way my old shampoo did, but I figure that may be because it's all natural and not filled with a bunch of chemicals that cause a big lather.

Too much lather

I like this company a great deal but I do not like this shampoo. It is free of sulfites, however,it lathers more than I'm used to. My hair also looked sort of flat after I used it.I do like the conditioner that I've tried from this company.

Relaxing

This is a shampoo I use when I want to relax. It is so soothing and it gets my hair very clean and leaves it super soft. I feel great about using it because of all the wonderful ingredients in it and it has really improved the look of my hair because it is now nourished
