Why You’ll Love It

Peas are well known for being a source of highly bioavailable protein. Additionally, peas are not considered one of the major dietary allergens. Collectively, this makes pea protein an ideal source of post-workout nutrition for athletes who may have difficulty supplementing with other types of protein. NOW® Sports Organic Pea Protein is a non-GMO vegetable protein isolate that has 15 grams of easily-digested protein. Each 2 scoop (20 g) serving typically has over 2,700 mg of branched chain amino acids, and over 1,300 mg of L-Arginine. NOW® Sports Organic Pea Protein is pure and natural, unflavored, and mixes easily into your favorite beverages.

About This Brand

Since 1968, NOW Foods has prided itself on being a leading producer of natural products, paving the way for the healthy foods and natural supplements in the mainstream market. Approximately half a century ago, entrepreneur Elwood Richard started a small chain of health food stores, known as Health House, in the Chicagoland area. With his scientific background evoking his passion for health foods and nutritional supplements, it laid the early foundation for his company. When the high cost of his stores’ health food products deterred business, he started his own natural products manufacturing company to supply his stores, which afforded him complete control over product cost and quality. From this moment NOW Foods was born. Today NOW is still owned by the Richard family and has grown to become one of the most identifiable brands, delivering a widespread line of wholesome and natural products. NOW has always remained true to Elwood’s original vision—to meet consumer need for...

Reviews For Organic Pea Protein

Good source of protein

I have been using this in my morning smoothies for a few years. It tastes terrible by itself so make sure you add fruit or mix it with something that has flavor. My sister adds it to her baking in place of some of the flour for some protein in pancakes, muffins, etc.

Organic pea protein

I am very happy with this item. I have several allergies. I am delighted to be able to purchase a pea protein with out ant thing else in it. Theyu are so hard to find!
THANK YOU!!

Perfect!

I mix it in my morning Matcha green tea with soy, almond, or other milk. The taste goes perfect with the matcha green tea powder and it makes a nice creamy rich hot beverage. I use a wire whip to mix and froth the drink, otherwise neither the tea or the protein powder like to mix in with just a spoon. I hold the wire whip between my palms and rub back and forth like you do under a hand dryer. Sometimes I add a little sweetener and vanilla extract to make it extra special.

Very pleased!

I was looking for a protein powder to add to my smoothies that was free of whey, soy and other processed grains (even gluten free grains). My nutritionist suggests pea protein so I thought I'd give this one a try and have found it to be quite unnoticeable in my smoothies. I will purchase it again.

Pea protein

Recommended in the Virgin Diet book. Only for smoothies, due to the taste, but I use it every day.

Good protein

Good protein, but the need to add it with fruit or something due the bad flavor.
