I eat this with a spoon and I can't stop.
Beneficial to my health, pure, good taste, & doesn't need refrigeration (a plus for me as I can't always make it to the kitchen & can keep it at hand.)
Pure awesome. 8-)
Only "complaint" is it solidifies and our chilly house but that's my bad for saving energy. ;-) I parked it on top of the heater vent and/or popped it inside the microwave to get it flowing. Should be fine in the summer.

Good brand of coconut butter
Call it coconut manna, coconut butter, or coconut cream concentrate; I really want to love the stuff. I just don't. I sneak it into things and it works out well but I'm not an "Eat it from the jar" kinda gal. That being said: this is my favorite brand and thrives price is often the best.

Amazing! Great Price
We love this product! Great for smoothies and love to just take a scoop and eat it :-)
I mixed 2tsps. of this with 2tsps. of choc. hazelnut butter, and spread in on a piece of toast, and OMG! I will be reordering, and recommending this product.
A great alternative for nut butters
Tastes great and spreads just like nut butters
How can u tell if the coconut oil or pureed coconut is highly processed or not?
I think if it has the coconut smell and taste, it is good. Coconut manna does, the pureed coconut is delicious, and the coconut oil (rises to top) is good for cooking or mixing in warm food, I find. Have reordered 3 times.
I had bought some "Golden Barrel" coconut oil on sale last year. It said refined, and it had no coconut smell at all.
This has become my go to "quick snack" when I can't take time to cook--taking the place of peanut butter from less healthy days. It's a nice add in for green smoothies too.
Best Ever Coconut Butter!
Made mashed sweet potatoes and added Organic coconut manna, cinnamon, salt & pepper. It was divine!
Careful! Totally addicting!
I'm back for another jar! The first one was gone before I could use it in any recipes, lol! It's really yummy. Get two and hide one!
I am new to the coconut "everything" market so this product was new to me. Loved it, it has a good texture, once you melt and blend. Find myself reaching for it cuz it takes good all by itself!
This stuff is crack. I, too, eat spoonfuls of it out of the container. Make sure you get it stirred REAL good when you get it and it will keep a wonderful taste and consistency.
Just grab a spoon
Seriously, this is delicious! I eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon. I often take it with maca powder, two powerhouses at one shot.
New to this product
Still getting use to it...use it in my smoothies and golden milk...tried it on toast but didn't really care for it...really really want to love it...
This Manna is awesome. Yes I had to heat it. But otherwise, I can use it in food and it comes out great.
Nutiva Coconut Manna
I love this product. I use it instead of butter on all my veggies and on main dishes usually with nutritional yeast and Himalayan pink salt. Very yummy. I often buy 4 at a time.
manna from heaven!
This stuff is a great little snack - a spoonful and it keeps me from making bad choices.
For me - on a paleo pathway - this is like eating frosting out of the bowl or store purchased tubs!!! I don't even want to LOOK a real cake frosting. Makes me sick to think about putting that in my mouth anymore; let alone my body!!!
This stuff is unbelievably delicious. I don't put it on anything just eat it straight from the jar so I get to taste it to the full.

Nutiva Organic coconut manna
Going to order and try it. Sounds delicious
I love this product. Warm it up in a pan then I blend it with water to make my own coconut milk without additives. Tastes great with some dark chocolate too!
new to me~
I have tasted this, but not used it in a recipe. I live in Maine,so perhaps in the South, you would "only" need to stir it,but it is solid and has to be placed in really hot water for a while, stirring frequently. It tastes good, like coconut as you would expect, but less oily,as the coconut oil.
great product, I use this almost every day!
Love this product.
I really love the taste of this coconut mana. I use it in my coffee. Good fat, great taste...what else do you need to know?
Great texture and taste, and the glass jar is always a plus!
Delicious Coconut Manna
For someone unable to consume sugar, here's an idea. I mix a tablespoon of Coconut Manna with 1-1/2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil, a dash of salt, stevia to taste and then Organic Cacao Powder for a yummy bite of delicious-ness (the consistency of frosting)! The Coconut Manna and Oil could also be melted first and, once the additional ingredients are added, poured onto an oiled plastic sheet and frozen then broken into pieces to eat like a chocolate bar. Trail mix could be added to the melted concoction before freezing.
Excellent product. I use it to make raw, dairy-free chocolate.
Never without this!
Great price! I melt this down by putting the jar in a pot of simmering water, then pour into small silicone molds and freeze for 20 minutes. Pop out and keep in pantry, or fridge if its to warm out, for healthy kid snacks!
Whenever I get a craving for sweets, I take a mouthful of Manna, & I don't end up snacking on sweets. Very satisfying to me.
This stuff tastes amazing! I just eat is straight out of the jar for my after dinner snack. Great price.
The BEST tasting coconut butter there is!! Love it. I love it so much I have to keep it in the fridge so I don't eat the whole jar at one sitting!
I just love this stuff, I eat it plain and bake with it
Nutiva Coconut Manna
This is a staple in my pantry! Works very well for frosting on cupcakes, in smoothies, fat bombs, ETC. One of my favorite Keto treats!
Delicious with chocolate
So far I've made homemade Almond Joy cups with this and spread it on graham crackers. It's so creamy!
I have to be careful of portion sizes when I eat this. I could eat the whole jar in one sitting.
Like coconut oil to the nth degree....delicious....only con is that is was too firm to scoop out right away...soften gently and enjoy!
- Mary A
I love it!
Makes me feel good to eat this product, as I know it is healthy. I just eat it from the jar.
Nice and creamy
This is different than I expected - very creamy and thicker than just coconut oil. I used it to make a coconut protein bar and loved the result. Doesn't taste cooked or processed - just plain coconut. Delicious!
Perfect add in to smoothies without any overbearing flavor. It leaves a great texture, it's healthy, and tastes good...what more can I say.
MMMM.....nummy right out of the jar!!
Delicious Coconut Butter
This product is sweet and creamy and perfect for snacking on! I used most of it to concoct a coconut-chocolate frosting--just melt the coconut butter a little, add melted butter/ghee, cocoa powder, and honey, and stir it all until smooth.
Good for baking, though I would be able to use it like peanut butter, but yeah no.
For me? This is like spooning frosting out of the container. For those who actually eat the frosting out of the "tub" (YUCK!!!!) they would think me out of my mind but; I gain more energy for dipping my spoon, as they "check out" for their sugar drop after the "rush".
Great flavor. We like it as is as a snack and it is good on fruit when warmed.
I was excited to try this product thinking it would be more like coconut butter but sadly it is just like coconut oil. Has a rich consistency but nothing like coconut butter.
- Ana Maria
So hard to just eat a tablespoon of this sweet, yummy coconut pulp! I absolutely love it!
To die for
This is better than I would have thought. I love anything coconut. I have only once used this for what it was intended, as a spread. I take it and roll in into small balls and roll it in shredded coconut and eat it like a piece of candy, sooooo yummy!!
The Best Ever!
This is the best coconut butter you can buy!!
This is good stuff. Great on butternut squash with cinnamon, salt & pepper
Yummy! Coconut mana is absolutely delicious!
improved to a glass jar
In the past, they switched to a plastic jar, and the contents separated. Now it's back to glass and all is good. Submitting a new rating of 5 stars. Great product.
Smooth, but lacking sweetness.
The consistency of this coconut butter is great, once it has been melted. But the process of heating and stirring is somewhat of a hassle for me. I was also under the impression that this would be sweet. However, it was pretty vague.
This product is great to spread over other sweets, like bread, cookies, or even toast. It is contains tons of nutritional values and most importanly it's cholesterol free. Just be aware that it is not sweet enough to eat straight out of the jar if you are looking to satisfy a sweet tooth.
- W. Tran
We use it to make homemade chocolate treats without allergens. So yummy!
A nourishing everyday treat!
This is one of the very few ultra decadent things that also nourish your whole body. I'm not an avid fan of coconut flavor but I can make an exception here because it's just so rich, and the coconut flavor is mild and easily overpowered. I love using this in my smoothies. Ever since I stopped using soymilk, it's been difficult to get that same creamy texture with the oat and rice milks I've been using (I don't use coconut or almond milk because I don't like them). A scoop of this manna clears this right up. I'm so glad I found out about this. I know that coconut is super healthy for you but I've always been averse because of the flavor. Now that I have this mild, heavenly manna, I can see and feel the benefits without having to taste it. Great quality organic coconut manna, and the price here is just insanely cheap comparatively.

Like many people, I eat this good stuff raw. For a very long time, i was eating yogurt and bananas for breakfast every day. When my doctor told me that I need to start thinning out the food that I eat so that it passes easier, I opted to stay away from dairy. I east a few spoon fulls of this stuff mixed with granola in the morning. It is amazing, organic, Non-GMO and amazing again.
I wish I could buy this with a little flavor. Maybe a vanilla flavor would be good. I also recommend keeping it refrigerated or else you will have a lot of separation and mess.
- Marlon Harvey
Love this product!
I am a big fan of Nutiva because of their high quality products and this one doesn't disappoint! It has a mild coconut flavor, it's rich and creamy, and very healthy! It's great in smoothies, soups, and candy. The candy is my favorite, of course, because it's good for you! I simply melt it and pour it over cocoa nibs and flax and it makes for a delicious, healthy treat!
- Michelle Jacobs
Manna is SO yummy!
This is firmer in consistency than Peanut butter, but melts in your mouth, and is creamy and delicious, and very satisfying! I loved it, and this price is very good!
A bit too dry.
I find this roasted coconut butter to be too dry for me to enjoy. I much prefer the Artisana brand raw coconut butter as its much smoother and moist.
The last jar I got was plastic instead of glass. Obviously I don't want the plasticizers. Also, instead of a creamy paste, there was liquid floating above a very hard mass. I managed to chop and stir it up and then it was ok, but this was very bad for my hands-took a lot of strength.
I have a 5 lb block sitting in my pantry that I'm not using for that reason. The convenience is why I buy this. Hope they correct these problems. The previous purchases were fine.
Meanwhile, the taste is still great. It's a great carrier of sweetness (stevia) so things taste much better.
love the sweet coconut flavor. I like it on apple slices as a snack at night.
Make sure you dig deep!
I was disappointed when i bought this, and thought it was just like coconut oil. I have tried other coconut butters, and I thought maybe manna wasn't the same exact thing. It turns out, there is a thinner top layer covering the actual coconut butter. Make sure you go down a centimeter or two to reach the goodness!
I added a scoop of this to a chocolate/avocado/frozen banana smoothie I was making in my Vita Mix. The coconut manna broke up into pieces in the cold smoothie, resulting in the taste and texture of chocolate chips. If you like the idea of chocolate chips in your chocolate smoothie or milkshake, try it.
An acquired taste
If you are not used to eating this stuff it does take some getting used to. The texture is different and the taste is. It is pretty sweet, but not the same as refiined sugar sweet.
I still sometimes don't like it on certain things, but it definitely helps curb my cravings for sweets and junk food.
- Risa Hix
I couldn't believe how good this was
When I first tried this I wasn't sure about it. The tastes takes some getting used to. Once I cut out refined sugars I noticed that this stuff really did taste sweet. Now I love using it.
Not everyone will like it. If you are used to eating healthy you are sure to love it.
- Eric Stock
Still Getting Used To the Taste
Maybe it's because I used to eat a lot of peanut butter, but this coconut version doesn't taste like it has even a shred of sugar in it.
If you've ever ingested coconut oil, this has a similar feeling in your mouth, although it's smoother and creamier than that. It's best added to something else as a flavor enhancer instead of a stand alone.
- C. James
Use on everything
Just so you know, this coconut butter isn't meant to be kept in your fridge going to waste. I use it every day on something.
I mix it into oatmeal, spread it on toast, spread it on pancakes and I've even cut up apples and used the butter as a dip. it's that good, folks, better than peanut butter, healthier in every way and low in sugar.
- Charmaine Jenkins
No more cream cheese
Before I discovered Nutiva's coconut cream, I was a cream cheese fanatic.
But after a friend let me try some of hers, I converted fully to coconut cream, and I'm now I'm a coconut fanatic. I also use coconut flour and I'm really into coconut oil as a moisturizer and conditioner. Anything I used cream cheese on, I now spread with coconut butter, and I save my body from addedcalories, fat and hydrogenated oil
- Chris J.
Nutiva's coconut butter is my favorite spread. It goes on creamy and smooth and is so much better than peanut butter. It has no trans fat or cholesterol, and it's full of protein.
I'm not sure which is better, using it as a spread or eating it straight from the jar for a snack.
Pure coconut meat butter
I admit that I was ignorant. I knew all about coconut oil, but never heard of coconut butter.
Well it's really just pureed coconut, taking from the meat of the fruit and it's awesome. You can put it on crackers, bread or use it as a dip. It has that distinct coconut flavor, slightly sweet, aromatic and 100 percent organic.
- Clifford Jennings
Bake with it
I love to use this stuff in baking. It replaced butter beautifully in most recipes, but not all. I like that it adds a difference in flavor to my baked goods.
My favorite recipe for it is peppermint bark I make every Christmas. This makes it taste different and oh so good. I try not to divulge this secret to too many people because I have so many family members wanting to steal my recipe!
- River L.
Very similar to coconut oil
While I do like this product, and enjoy many of the Nutiva line, I have to say that this one kind of had me disappointed. It tastes nearly the same as their coconut oil. It just has a different consistency. I had been hoping that it would smell more like coconut and even have more of a coconut flavor.
I still buy it for some uses, since it is a different texture, but it's low on my list.
- Christal Hicks
I've been trying to cut down on my sweet tooth, and this coconut manna has been my saving grace. Gently sweetened, it's been great for satisfying cravings without eating a lot of processed sugars or HFCS. It's definitely taken some getting used to. I tried it a couple months back when I was still regularly eating processed sugars, and I wasn't fond of it. Now that I've cut back on my processed food, this tastes so much better. I'm sure my body isn't so bombarded with sugar all the time that it can appreciate it more. I love to spread this on crackers and toast. It's such a nice treat.
Cut out the sweets with this
Paleo friendly, nut allergy friendly and great for anyone trying to detox from refined sugars but looking to fill their sweet tooth.
This tastes great as it is, just spread on a muffin or toast. It works great in place of butter on sweet potatoes. I even like it in my baking.
The consistency takes a little getting used to, but you will fall in love with it!
- Stephen Cunha
Perfect Butter Alternative!
My family had to eliminate dairy because of my husband's lactose intolerance. Butter has been the hardest to delete from our everyday menu. Then I found nutivia coconut butter. The kids and I don't mind eating healthier, especially now that butter is back on the table.
I cook with the coconut butter just as I would with regular butter. It bakes, melts, and adds flavor and all the goodness without all the fat, lactose, and calories of traditional butter. This is also helping with his cholesterol levels, a bonus!
- Claire Jones
Manna from heaven!
This stuff is a delicious, natural dessert-like manna from heaven! It's A great source of natural sugar and sweetness, instead of the refined junk in conventional products. It's basically "peanut butter", but made from coconut, and it has a similar consistency. It's great on toast, mixed in oatmeal, or even spooned right out of the jar.
- Conrad Nunez
I was only recently introduced to the benefits of Coconut Butter. I love Coconut Oil, but this butter is an entirely new treat. It contains the coconut meat + the oil, so it's more nutritious and contains more than the fat. A great snack by itself, but I also love spreading it on toast! Yum.
