About This Brand

Eating healthy is expensive. It shouldn’t be. Meeting the new U.S. nutritional guidelines is difficult for many Americans. It doesn’t have to be. We formed Edison Grainery to remove the stigma that only the elite are eligible to eat organics. Our parent company, Edison Grain Inc., is a leading supplier of high quality, certified organic ingredients. Since we are the first hands in what often becomes a long daisy chain of producers, manufactures, distributors, and storeowners, we wondered what would happen if we joined hands and offered organic ingredients at extremely competitive prices. We’re committed to providing safe, wholesome products; from Pantry Staples to Superfoods – we offer something for everyone. From the Industrial & Commercial sector to the families with food sensitivities, our commitment to our customers is the basis for creating a HACCP (hazardous analysis critical control point) plan that complies with all regulatory programs and our certifying agencies.

Excellent peas

I love to make pea soup and these peas cook up tender and tasty. Just add to your favorite pea soup recipe and enjoy

Best split peas

I've made split pea soup for many years and these are the best greenest dried peas with the best flavor I have ever had!

- Rebecca

Beautiful green split peas

Love these! They are the greenest healthiest looking split peas I have ever seen. Usually I have to pick out many yellow or brownish peas then wash and wash but these had very few 'bad' guys in the bag and appear to be much cleaner too although I still rinse thoroughly.

Makes dinnertime easier

Our household loves split peas, but I didn't like the unorganic varieties I could get from the store. It was starting to concern me about my family's health. These were a better alternative, and they're even certified organic! Just boil water and simmer with these, and you'll have full and yummy split peas within an hour. It makes dinnertime a whole lot easier.

Good for meals

These are so easy to work with, and they've made it really simple to add vegetables to my kids' meals without them complaining about it. I don't have to worry too much about preparation, and it goes really well in pretty much any soup I've tried it in. They bake nicely, and they end up nice and cooked - without being soggy.
