Alaffia, Whipped Shea Butter & Coconut Oil, Unscented & Unrefined

I’m seeing a lot of reviews about a horrible scent. This is not my experience. Perhaps different batches smell differently or we all experience scent in a different way. For me it is a subtle scent but smells very natural, which I would expect in an unrefined, natural product. I prefer this to the smelly, perfumed products sold by popular brands. I find this moisturizing and soothing. It is a thick consistency so I must rub it in my hands before applying it to other areas. Because of this, it goes a long way and lasts a very long time. It’s well worth the money and I will be buying it again and I’m saving a ton of money not having to purchase more expensive products that don’t work. I’m just hoping it will be consistent and my next purchase will be the same experience.

For severe dry skin this is the stuff! It works so well and the smell, you can’t get enough of it.

I was so excited to try this product after my new dry brushing routine. I was even more excited when I saw it was unscented! It is NOT. It smells so bad to me, like it’s an old citrus fruit that has been sitting on your counter for days….I tried returning but sadly, I didn’t open until after the 30 day return timeframe. I’ll see if anyone else I know wants it and won’t mind the scent. Blech.

I have loved this stuff for years. However, the last jar I got smells SO BAD. I still tried to put it on and I had to take another shower. I’m not sure if I’m going to purchase again.. also the product does not last a long time, especially if I use it full body

this lotion is $10 a pop on sale and it was barely half way full, so disappointed

This shea butter is so smooth and moisturizing. Perfect in winter. The added coconut oil helps it go on easily, not like pure Shea butter which needs to be softened first. Alaffia is an amazing company and it makes me happy to buy their products. Above and beyond "fair trade"

Moisturizes Great but smells kind of like cigarettes

It’s coconut oil so if you think it won’t be a bit messy to apply, you’re wrong. But it’s the only thing that works for my daughter’s super sensitive and ultra dry skin. She’s 2 and scratches until she bleeds. I’ve tried everything but this stuff works!

Very effective, scent takes some getting used to but is totally worth it!
