Baby didn’t like the texture

I followed instructions and this did not get soft. It was pretty hard and the pieces of fruit didn’t soften either. Not sure if heating it would be better or doing it like overnight oats but just adding breast milk didn’t work for us and baby refused it. I ended up freezing it and giving it to baby in a little mesh but I wouldn’t buy it again. Maybe ok for an older toddler that has molars to chew.
