The creators of Amara recognized the need for wholesome, nutritious food for babies and understood that not everybody has the time to make it themselves.

The brand developed an alternative to typical baby food that provides parents with an option that’s healthier for their baby and convenient for their busy schedules. This organic baby food is made with simple ingredients like fruits and veggies and is dehydrated using a special technique to lock in taste, texture, and nutrients.

Amara’s History

Amara was developed by a woman raised on fresh food. Jess’s mother would bake bread daily and never use vegetables from a can. Brought up with the belief that fresh food is simply better for you, she decided that healthy eating should begin as early as possible.

Faced with a complete lack of non-processed, non-sugary baby food options, Jess decided to create her own.

Amara’s Mission

Amara’s Organic Baby Food was developed to help instill healthy eating habits in babies from the moment they can chew their first bites. All its products are made without additives and concentrates, and are as close to homemade as store-bought can possibly be.

Amara’s aims to nourish babies with whole ingredients, and hopes to make healthy choices more accessible to parents.

Amara offers a wide selection of flavors from sweet to savory. The dehydrated packets are made to be mixed into a paste with breastmilk, formula, or water to help your baby transition to solid foods. Here are some of our favorite flavors:

Potato Kale Mash

This subtly sweet mash is both a fun color and a complex bite for your baby. Made with potatoes, banana, onion, and lots of kale, it’s a great way to introduce your child to leafy greens, the calcium in which will help strengthen their little bones so they can grow big and strong.

Oats ‘n’ Berries

Apples, bananas, blueberries, and oats are combined in this delicious purple treat for your baby. Best served warm, Oats ‘n’ Berries is a meal as comforting as it is colorful.
