These are lightweight dry packets that can be mixed with water/ milk to make puree on the go. Would also be perfect for lightweight backpacking with an infant.

My son loves these (as well as the other Amara dehydrated baby food we bought). I like that you can customize the amount and type of liquid used, and they are lightweight and not fragile - perfect for road trips and camping! Smell and taste great.

I had to heavily season this to get my 2 year old to eat it. My 4 year old refused. I tasted it myself and it tastes like cardboard.

veggie forward

Posted   by Jessica from Marina del Rey, California
Veggie forward, really convenient for daycare and at home. Liked that I felt a part of the experience. Always thought I would make homemade but with the second one it's been impossible. This brand is the only brand I feel confident about feeding my little.

Not too bad

Posted   by Chelsea from New York, NY
My 11 month old daughter was not too sure of the this food. It took a few trys to get her to eat it. Now she eats about 3/4 of the serving. The taste is good and the ingredients are all organic without additives. The problem is the texture. I tried with water and formula, warmed up and cool. The texture was thick and pasty. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this baby food!

Convenient

Posted   by Thrive from Vallejo, CA
I liked the ease of use and convenience of just adding liquid. At times, I would add more liquid because my son didn't always care for the texture. I wanted him to love this flavor because of the variety of ingredients but this was his least favorite. He preferred the banana and tropical mango. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for allowing me to test this product!

intense kale flavor!

Posted   by Thrive from Grand Rapids, MI
This product wasn't a huge hit with my little one. I don't think she loved the strong kale flavor. It's difficult to pinpoint that for sure, but when I tried a bite, the intensity of the kale was the first thing I noticed. I love the concept of the Amara food pouches, and how nutritious they are, this one just didn't go over as well as some other flavors we have tried. I would still recommend that a friend give this product and this flavor a try for their kiddo though. Thanks to the weeSpring parent panel for the opportunity to try this product!

Convenient and Tasty

Posted   by Thrive from Washington, DC
My baby started eating solids around 5 months. We started with oatmeal and worked her up to pureed vegetables and fruits. Her tastes have varied from day to day including the type of texture and whether she chooses to feed herself or be fed with a spoon. She quickly started enjoying foods that had a bit more texture to them. As we added spices and other extras to the food she became more interested in foods that were full of flavor. We also struggled to keep up with ideas for tasty foods that she would not only love but were also good for her with not too many chemicals and add on ingredients. We were excited to get started when the food pouches arrived in the mail. I love seeing how she reacts to new foods and flavors. Because she had started diving into the land of table foods which had more texture and gave her control over what she wanted to put into her mouth, feeding her these was a bit more difficult. The flavors that arrived looked tasty and nutritious. The fact that they were non-gmo is a plus for us. We ripped open a pouch and got started with the tropical mango. I mixed it with a little milk in a bowl and kept it somewhat lumpy. She was willing to give a try and opened her mouth for the first spoonful. She ate a little bit more but tired quickly of being spoon food. I would say this is due to her becoming more accustomed to finger foods and preferring them to purees. I tried a bit and I think that the flavors are tasty. I like that you can control the texture of the mix by adding a little liquid for a chunkier texture or a lot to make it a smooth puree. The packaging is quite convenient for taking on the go which I like. They don't take up much room in your bag even if you take several and all you really need is water or milk and you have an instant meal. Thanks to the WeeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this baby food!
