Lots of teenagers experience acne, but not all of them are able to leave it in the past. Hormones, stress, diet, pregnancy, and other factors can play a role in skin health as we age, and sometimes, despite our best efforts, one of those pimples just gets through. Thankfully, there are brands like Hero Cosmetics that create simple solutions without the potential downsides of exposing your skin to parabens, alcohol, and sulfates.

The History of Hero Cosmetics

Just like millions of other women, cofounder and CEO Ju Rhyu still has the occasional pimple emergency to deal with. Before creating Mighty Patch, Rhyu treated her skin with salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, but wound up with irritated skin. After discovering hydrocolloid acne patches that worked wonders on her sensitive skin, she was hooked and became an advocate on a mission to share the secret with everyone.

Hero Cosmetics Company Mission

Hero Cosmetics has a unique specialty: pimple emergencies. That means any time you’re in a pinch—whether it’s the day before a big event or just your average Wednesday—it’s easy to care for your skin and say goodbye to unwanted acne. This skin care brand wants to be your hero anytime you need it.
