The History of Base Culture

It all started with a 30-day paleo challenge. Once the month was up, founder Jordann Windschauer decided to commit to the lifestyle long-term, but her biggest challenge was finding baked goods that were both satisfying and grain- and gluten-free. After experimenting with recipes in her home kitchen back in 2012, she began selling to local retail stores. As demand grew, Base Culture expanded to its own plant so it could continue retaining their gluten-free, paleo, and non-GMO certifications.
