Great alternative to plastic
Posted by Karen from ROHNERT PARK, California
These are what we use in our garbage can. Only issue is that they tear easily so you need to be gentle. Also, because they biodegrade, do not leave them in your garage in the back of a shelf opened and forgot that you did that. I did and had little green particles all over the place when I found the open box. Other wise clearly these do break down- we need more alternatives to plastic for sure!

I now only use these to collect my recycling. When uaing as trash bags they were not able to handle the weight.

Concept is great except they don’t seem to hold up very well.. at least not for me...

Good item, but would prefer there were tie handles on the bag...

I like using these. Doesn’t make me feel so bad

I tried these out, but they didn't work for my kitchen trash use. I only empty my trash once a week. The bag was disintegrating by then. What a mess at the bottom of my container! We'll use them in our office, where the trash is dry stuff. They might work better in a kitchen where the trash gets emptied every day. It's too bad, because I hate using regular plastic.
13 Gallon Tall Kitchen Trash Bags

These are sooooo flimsy. I can't even use them for bathroom trash without them falling apart.
