Why You’ll Love It

The great texture and flavor of this product proves that you don’t need wheat to make good bread. Because of the strength of the dough, it’s extremely versatile and can be prepared in a number of ways: tortillas/wraps, French toast, calzones, turnovers, bread bowls (for soup and chowder), buns, and much more.

About This Brand

Chebe

People ask us all the time how this delicious bread with the funny name got its start. My wife, Ju, was born and raised in Brazil. During my travels there I fell in love with a unique bread product which she had grown up with called pao de queijo. It’s a Brazilian cheese bread served literally everywhere you go. People sell it on the streets. You can buy it in grocery stores. And fine restaurants serve it daily. One taste of its crispy crust and moist, chewy inside and you’ll understand. Which is why, when we left Brazil, we decided to take it

Easy mix to work with. Just make sure you use butter or non stick spray on your hands when portioning for baking!

Wonderfully cheesy

Very delicious and easy to make. Be aware that adding too much cheese will make these rolls seem doughy inside when served hot, but when cooled they are definitely cooked through. My recommendation is to divide one box of dough into 8 rolls, not 16. The recommended bake time is perfect.
