Valérie and Dominique Ibanez grow organic wine on just 32 acres of “bad rock” (roquemale in the local dialect) in the sun-drenched and jagged terroir of France’s Roquemale Valley. Known for small productions and unique wines, the vineyard’s isolated location helps protect the vines from the elements. The use of organic farming techniques—no pesticides here—result in rich soil, deep roots, and resilient vines.
