Earth Harbor, Mermaid Milk Nutrient Glow Moisturizer

I was disappointed in the small size of the jar, but a little goes a long way. Makes my face feel very smooth, which not all products can do because of a lifetime spent outside in the sun.

This is one of my go tos for moisturizer!

I received this s a sample. I'm not sure how I feel about it's ability to moisturize. it leaves a strange almost plastic like shield feeling over your face- even though I know the company is anti-plastic! it says it let's the skin breathe- but it feels stifling. It is almost as if when it is applied to the skin, it covers it in a complete way- and then pulls it tight. I don't know know how to explain it, as I've never used anything like it. it's got a mildly filmy, matte texture to the touch. now- to be fair, I'm in my mid forties. I don't have the greasy skin i had when I was a teen, but I'm definitely not dry. I'd say I have normal skin. sometimes I wash my face and go ahead without any moisturizer, or I'll spray my face with ursa major toner- because my skin will then balance in a bit. when I use moisturizer, I do prefer something very nourishing, or just a straight up oil. ursa major mountain glow is my current favorite. anyhow, after applying this- my skin definitely feels drier than before i do appreciate the pure ingredients however.

I really do like it. It’s soft and has a cooling effect. It may just be the harsh winter but i never feel super moisturized from it. Could be me. Could be winter. Still like it

I didn’t mind the scent, but it does the opposite of what it’s supposed to do. I have dry skin, and this just made it so much worse.

i did not hesitate to add this to my skincare routine after just one use! my skin is glowing & i am relieved to know everything in this product is natural!

I don't know if it's too heavy for my skin or if it's other ingredients, but I had to stop using this because it always breaks me out when I try it again. I'm using it as a very expensive body lotion instead now to use it up.

First & foremost to remember is that many of the new ingredients popping up in face creams have the potential for serious adverse consequences. I recently had tried a product recommended to me by an aesthetician & woke up the next morning with so much facial swelling that I could barely open my eyes. So please follow the advice from Earth Harbor & do a small test for sensitivity before applying Mermaid Milk all over your face. The specific ingredient spirulina can cause allergic reactions in some people. Luckily I am not allergic to it & am using it twice a day because it's great for my super dry face. As other people have mentioned it does have a medicinal scent but I don't mind as long as it's fixing my face!
