This is the best nonsteriodal cream that I’ve found for eczema. I used to just get eczema on my hands and arms but I’ve been getting it on my chest for the past 6 months or so. This cream helps but I still use prescription Triamcinolone 0.1% for flare ups. I’ve found that you can’t expect a cream to be as effective or fast acting as a prescription steroid cream, but this is the best non steroidal cream that I’ve found. It might be enough on its own if you have very mild eczema or if you start treating your skin before flare up. I have tried different eczema creams/lotions made by Aveeno, Acure, and Eucerin. I still use Acure eczema lotion every time that I take a shower topped off with Vaseline petroleum jelly on my eczema spots. I know that Vaseline is controversial in the natural community but it helps seal in the moisture to help reduce the amount of prescription eczema cream that I use. Maintaining a moisture barrier is really key with eczema. Anytime you take a shower or bath, you should be applying some sort of moisturizer, cream, or body oil. Oatmeal baths are also helpful. I make my own with colloidal oatmeal by grinding up oats in my blender and then putting them in old stockings and socks. If you have a really powerful food grinder, you probably don’t need to use socks or stockings.
