Familiar to sushi enthusiasts from its use in miso soup, wakame is also used in seaweed salads. EMERALD COVE® Wakame is ready to eat and can be tossed right out of the bag into miso soup. Because...

Easy to use for cooking

I usually make miso soup with wakame. It adds nice umami flavors and minerals to the soup. This wakame doesn't need to wash them. Just add to the soup when cooking. Easy to use. For making salad with it, I would soak briefly like for 5 minutes.

Thrive’s price is less than any of my local stores, hence my 5 stars. As far as this brand being better than another, I can’t really speak to that.

Live this brand and am glad thrive carries them! Wakame has this weird salty super satisfying crunch for me. Idk if its good to eat too much dry though but I occasionally like to snack on a couple shreds. Will def reorder.
