The History of First Light

In 2003, the First Light founders started thinking about creating a revolutionary new meat company. They wrote down a few values on a piece of paper (like integrity, innovation, happiness, and sustainability) and remain guided by these principles today. Nearly 180 family farms are part of the First Light family, raising 100% grass-fed animals on free-range pastures throughout New Zealand.
