I stated looking up plant-based seafood and came across this brand and then saw it on Thrive. WILDLY impressed. Like wildly insanely impressed. Made tuna salad with it and you legitimately can’t tell a difference. I will be buying again because I love the sustainability aspect and knowing I’m still eating well. Give it a shot!

Not much joy with tuna taste

Another product that failed me in bridging a tuna taste. Was excited to try this but upon tasting it, it lacked the tuna like flavour. Seemed like mushy plant based stuff, with a few Mediterranean spices.

I applaud the effort but I think it may be impossible to recreate tuna.

It's ok

I haven't tried mock tuna before so was interested to try. It's... Ok. It's not amazing, but not bad either. There's a lot of oil, which was not my style (maybe that's how fish is supposed to be like?). I wasn't sure if I should cook it either, but found that I like it heated up more than I like it raw. Personally I wouldn't purchase it again, but I'll eat it if someone offered it to me. I'm still in interested in trying other items from the brand or similar items from other brands though!

I've yet to find a good substitute for tuna. This was very oily and didn't taste like tuna to me.
