GoodPop’s History

GoodPop started when Daniel Goetz needed something cool and refreshing on a hot summer day in Austin, Texas. He noticed he couldn’t find a snow cone anywhere in the city without processed, overly sugary ingredients, and artificial flavors in the syrup. He couldn’t even find a simple fruit bar with natural ingredients, and so he set out to make his own.

GoodPop was originally sold at Austin farmers’ markets. After gaining immense popularity at four locations, GoodPop has grown and is now sold in stores across the American Southwest, Pacific Northwest, West Coast, and Rocky Mountain regions.
