When the premium foods the vet recommended weren’t helping Spot’s digestive, skin, shedding, and odor problems, the vet said they were out of options. But Spot’s pet parent consulted a nutritionist friend who noticed the diﬀerence between what’s in typical pet food—rendered “meat meals” — and the foods in their own kitchens.
