The History of Halo

The Halo Pet Food story started with a very sick pet named Spot. When the premium foods the vet recommended weren’t helping Spot’s digestive, skin, shedding, and odor problems, the vet said they were out of options. But Spot’s pet parent consulted a nutritionist friend who noticed the diﬀerence between what’s in typical pet food—rendered “meat meals” — and the foods in their own kitchens. Using whole-food ingredients, they created what came to be known as Halo Spot’s Stew. Spot devoured it and soon his health transformed. When friends got wind of Spot’s transformation, they wanted to try the miraculous formula - and Halo was born.
