Pour oil from a bottle & you get way more than you need. With the spray technique you control your applied fat. Tip don't spray your non-stick pan or any pan, spray your food before you cook it in the pan. Also it's not a bad idea to have more than 2 oil sprayers, I have 2 for different types of vinegar's that is also a great way to add dressing to your salad spray it on, leave it on the table & everyone can dress their own salad.

as another review mentions, oil doesn't come out in a mist, and splatter/splashback makes it messy to use... also agree with another review that the seam inside of it looks questionable. no way to know what it was soldered with, if e.g. lead could be leaching into the oil, etc.. the rim of the bottle is also rather sharp when the nozzle is not screwed in place. for the price i thought it would be slightly better quality, can't really recommend it
