Great pasta replacement

Great idea but the texture is off and it does not have that typical pasta feel. It’s more grainy. The taste is okay but not great. Does not reheat well.

Tried this out for the first time tonight. The shape of the pasta is good, but when I cooked for the recommended amount some of the pasta came out al dente and the rest was undercooked. There is good “tooth” to the first bite, but then you definitely taste the bean. So, low calorie and high protein, yes. Good tasting: no.

I didn’t realize that the box instructions said to make it “per serving” and I made the whole box thinking to use leftovers as lunch the next day. NO WAY. Once it cooled, it had a terrible aftertaste and the texture was as if I didn’t cook it. Disappointing.

Very good for a rice replacement. 2 oz makes a couple cups of rice
