When it comes to organic rice, Lundberg Family Farms is the best in the business. While brown rice is a staple for many families, Lundberg also offers jasmine rice, basmati rice, sushi rice, wild rice, gluten-free rice cakes, and rice- and corn-based tortilla chips. These non-GMO rice products, by the way, also make great vegetarian and vegan snacks. And yes, Lundberg tests their rice for arsenic, confirming that it passes the standards set by the European Food Safety Authority. Sustainability, however, is where Lundberg Family Farms truly shines. To Lundberg, organic is not just a label, but a commitment to eco-friendly rice farming. Lundberg Family Farms is also a member of the Sustainable Food Trade Association, a group committed to reducing waste and combating climate change. Enjoy your Lundberg rice!

The History of Lundberg Family Farms

In 1937, Albert and Frances Lundberg moved to California to grow rice in a sustainable fashion. Fast-forward to the 1960s, when Albert Lundberg’s four sons—Eldon, Wendell, Harlan, and Homer—decided to sell their family-farmed rice to the public. Today, the basic commitment of the Lundberg Family Farms has remained constant: grow healthy rice and treat the planet well.

Lundberg Family Farms Company Mission

Albert Lundberg lived by the desire to “leave the land better than you found it” and this principle still drives everything the family-owned company does, from producing certified organic rice to supporting sustainable farming practices. Lundberg Family Farms strives to be a leader in:

Energy conservation
Renewable energy
Providing a safe and fair working environment
Waste reduction

The result is high-quality, wholesome rice in your pantry, and consistent care of the land where it was grown.
