Nuttzo, Mixed Nut And Seed Butter, Peanut Trail Mix

The flavor is okay. I wouldn’t eat this by itself like I would a spoon of peanut butter…but I would use it in something. You can tell it’s missing something sweet but that’s what I needed to avoid.

I appreciate that this NuttZo “trail mix” flavor is real food. The “butter” (oil from the nuts) separates, however, like other nut butters and requires stirring, which really isn’t possible in the jar without slopping oil over the top of the jar. There’s a competing national brand that uses palm oil in the mix and somehow doesn’t separate, and I wish the NuttZo’s of the world would figure out a way to accomplish the same thing. The NuttZo product tastes a little dry because of it being unmixed (and the customer not really being able to achieve that). But as I said, it’s real food—and that’s a good thing.

Neither me or my toddler liked this. Weird taste. We have tried nut butters before but we were not a fan of this one
