I think I just need to get used to these. I wasn’t a huge fan at first but they work fine, just take some getting used to the inserting process since it’s not plastic. Hence the 4 stars. Definitely happy that it’s better for our planet though!

I love the fact that these are organic cotton. It doesn’t freak me out to use them. And I love the idea of the biodegradable cardboard applicator. But the sad reality is that the applicator is awful! It doesn’t deploy(???) the tampon like it should. It’s not smooth, it sticks, it’s uncomfortable and awkward to use. And the tampons don’t seem to do the job well. AND they are uncomfortable while inside. I hate that these tampons aren’t what I’d hoped they’d be. I really did try. But I went back to natracare

I've always hated cardboard applicators, but I decided to give these a try based on the good reviews and the fact that there are very few organic cotton tampons on the market. The applicator hurts like every other cardboard applicator, and the tampon itself is uncomfortable. I don't forget about it like others. This one feels like there's definitely something there. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because I appreciate what this company is trying to do for women's health and the environment.
