For fast flavor, spices are practically a requirement. You can always make your own blends, but don’t knock the pre-made mixes—they’re a serious kitchen lifesaver! Taco night in 30 minutes? No problem. Scrambled eggs with extra flavor? Done. Pizza sauce that tastes like it simmered all day? There’s a spice mix for that. We love companies like Primal Palate not only for what they add in (like cumin, oregano, coriander, and cayenne, for instance) but also what they leave out. As a brand that works for a range of diets (like paleo, low-FODMAP, gluten-free, and ketogenic) there’s a jar that’s perfect for everyone in the family.

The History of Primal Palate

Hayley Mason and Bill Staley started out as food bloggers at The Food Lovers’ Primal Palate. As a new couple who also dove headfirst into paleo eating, they wanted to inspire others to discover new recipes that worked with the lifestyle. After less than a year, the duo started working on their first book, Make It Paleo, which ultimately led to their popular food line. And it’s not just the paleo diet that Primal Palate’s products work for. Many of the options also accommodate low-sugar and low-FODMAP diets, and are safe for those with egg, nut, and shellfish allergies.

Primal Palate Company Mission

Primal Palate believes food is meant to be enjoyed—regardless of your dietary needs. Instead of feeling limited, this brand wants to help open your eyes to the world of flavor possibilities at your fingertips. In addition to its line of spices, Primal Palate also loves to pass along recipe ideas the whole family will love. Healthy, nutrient dense meal ideas are readily available on its website, and the brand wants to be your go-to resource for paleo, keto, and gluten-friendly recipes.
