In 2007, founder Mike Adair was working a corporate job and decided to stop by a local animal shelter in between meetings one afternoon. He immediately fell in love with Red (the dog), who would inspire the company name two years later when Red’s officially launched in 2009. Inspired by his wife’s homemade burritos, Mike channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into making the best breakfast fare.
