Worth it

I don't have a compost bin at this time, so if you're putting food waste in these bags, it will break down. BUT IT'S WORTH IT to know I'm not using plastic. As soon as I take a full bag out of my bin, I double bag it and it's fine. It's not the perfect solution, but it's better than using plastic bags. Eventually I'll compost and then I won't need to double bag anymore.

These garbage bags wouldn’t even hold my baby’s diapers. I never write bad reviews but these are just worthless... Sorry

Will not repurchase

I really want to like these because they are a better option - which is why I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 but they are not good. They are very small and don’t hold much due to not having ties or handles to tie. And they leak like crazy. Every time I pull the bag out the bottom of my can is wet.

Feeling green

These trash bags are sturdy. I love the way they fit in my trash can better than the old ones (Glad tall trash cans) and I can use them solely for my compost too. An easy switch to make

Seem really thin and there’s no string to pull the bag tight.

For trash-not food!

Posted   by Haitham from AUSTIN, Texas
If you are someone who separates their food waste into compost, recycling, and other trash, this bag will likely work well for you. We have city compost as well as a bin to make our own compost for the garden. We have used this brand for our small kitchen compost bucket as well, and replace it about every two uses. As part of trying to stick to less wasteful lifestyle, these bags are a great addition. Now I know that at least the trash we do create won't be encased in a plastic bag, adding even more to the problem.

Every bag leaked. I had to double bag which made them very uneconomical. I do not recommend this product.

Sadly, these bags keep breaking. I get leaks all over the trash cans.
