Repurpose, Compostable 13 Gallon Tall Kitchen Bag

I'm surprised by the amount of bad reviews and wonder the why and how. I've been using these garbage bags for several months. I get them from both Thrive and my local Central Market. The only downer is that the sides of the bags have a tendency to fall in after half full. And unlike the plastic bags, you can't stuff them. But I'm willing to use less plastic, which is suffocating our planet.

Total waste- the first three I pulled out of the box fell apart in my hands. Had to carry the whole wastebasket out to the trash because the one bag I attempted to use fell apart as well. Tossed the rest.

These are perfect for small trash cans and my kitchen trash can. I like that they will not fill up the landfill. They are very strong.

This entire roll of garbage bags ended up in the garbage themselves. Every single bag tore apart. Either it tore into pieces when trying to pull one from the roll, or tore apart when I tried to put a single item in. Even trying to use more than one couidnt hold them together. What is the point of these??

Seriously don’t waste your money. Every single bag ripped. Tried throwing out some expired rice, the bag ripped from bottom to top scattering rice everywhere. Not sure why Thrive would even carry this item- I can’t get a refund but it’s not too late for you! Save your money and buy any other compost bags!

Every single one ripped! It was kind of a joke and I would score them less than one point if I could! They were a free gift so I did not request my money back!

Didn’t actually use these! I couldn’t actually open any of the bags to use because they ripped! What a waste of resources. Glad these were “free”. I would not waste $ on purchasing!
