The History of RMS Beauty

The founder of RMS Beauty, Rose-Marie Swift, has been a makeup artist for 35 years. After experiencing some health issues, she discovered her blood contained toxic levels of heavy metals like barium, cadmium, lead, mercury, and aluminum, plus high levels of pesticides. She believes her decades spent in the cosmetics industry might be to blame.

As Swift set out to rebuild her health, she realized she wanted to do the same thing for other women, believing they all had a right to enjoy nontoxic skin care and makeup. In addition to launching her product line, Swift created the website Beauty Truth, which helps dispel common myths about beauty products and expose dangers of ingredients found in many of today’s leading makeup brands.
