Why You’ll Love It

Vegan eaters can enjoy the fresh taste of the sea, too! Plant-based Toona by Sophie’s Kitchen is the perfect fish-free alternative to conventional canned tuna. Non-GMO, all-natural ingredients like Konjac root (an ancient Asian superfood), pea protein, agave, sea salt, and spices lend this veganized tuna a flavor and texture that works beautifully in tuna salads, casseroles, sandwiches, and more. Even better: Great-tasting toona is an excellent source of protein and fiber (100 grams provides 12 percent of your recommended daily value!).

Not a tuna flavor but it’s really good, maybe add some seaweed if you want that fishy flavor

Perfect for fish allergies

Posted   by Alison from DENVER, Colorado
I developed an allergy to fish and shellfish about a decade ago, so I was excited to try this. I made it into a "tuna" salad sandwich and it was delicious. The texture, flavor, and smell were perfect.

Love that it comes in a can for easy recycling after use. When I opened it, I was startled with the appearance. It does not look like tuna and it is packed in olive oil. With that being said, its full of flavor. I've eaten it, without cooking and without draining, with bread and as a salad and it works. Really good with salad since the oil is already there as a dressing.
