Cue the fall into an internet rabbit hole. When new parents-to-be find out they’re expecting, elation often turns to panic-fueled product research. And not only are they trying to figure out which items are needed for the nursery, they’re also deciphering labels and packaging to choose the healthiest options for their growing family. Enter The Honest Co. This brand knows how important it is to have non-toxic household products, which is why it offers everything from diaper cream to shampoo—all made with ingredients you won’t hesitate using.

The History of The Honest Co.

When actress (and new mom) Jessica Alba couldn’t find baby products that met her standards, she partnered with friend and dad Christopher Gavigan to create The Honest Company. Both were committed to creating effective, eco-friendly, affordable, and convenient products for parents everywhere.

The Honest Co. Company Mission

Founder Jessica Alba has said, “I created The Honest Company because you shouldn’t have to choose between what works and what’s good for you.” To that end, the brand values safety and transparency, and develops many of its own formulas in an in-house lab. Honest also partners with a number of community organizations to help ensure more people have access to safe and effective options for their growing families.
