Couscous is a processed food (pasta) not a whole grain so was looking for options to make it healthier. Good price and taste

Healthier option

I’m on a high protein vegan diet and I’m always looking for ways to boost the protein in my meals. The first time I made this I didn’t use enough water and it was dry and unpleasant. I thought that was the way it is. I didn’t really like it, but I still had half a box so I made it again and the second time I got the ratio right and really really enjoyed this couscous. Tastes just like regular couscous and the extra protein is a bonus. Will buy again.

I’ve bought all three kinds of couscous made by thrive and notice that this one is the highest in protein and fiber of the three. So easy and quick to cook (I might just make couscous instead of rice and quinoa now!). Stir-fry some veggies, add a sauce of your choice, and place on top of this and voila!

I miss couscous since going gluten free and was excited to try this. It just wasn't quite the same, mushier and not the right texture

I was very happy with the taste. I did add some seasonings but it cooks up quickly and is a great side dish.

I didn’t like the flavor and it left a a paste like feel in my mouth
