A fave... - by LauraThese are my favorite of the shirataki family of noodles and "rice". Best texture of the bunch, very versatile, many uses in various dishes.
Easy to prep (really just open, rinse, heat up, season-- or not, just use after the rinse)
Excellent for keeping a low calorie cuisine, especially when whatever else I'm making is higher calorie.
Also good for the satiety factor, i.e., curb the appetite by feeling more full without consuming excessive calories, fats, etc.
Still, these bland little helpers can often be an acquired taste...
Well worth it tho.
