Thrive Market, Organic Shirataki Rice, 6 Pack

Online it says that the bag is two servings with zero net carbs - an important factor when on keto. When they arrived, the bags said only one portion and three net carbs. this is not the first label issue I've had with Thrive market products

For equal parts, health, benefits, and convenience, I tried out the sheer Taki rice pack. I only microwaved them (so fast and easy!!), so I cannot comment on the steaming or pan frying textures; the shirataki rice is definitely a bit surprisingly ‘bouncy’ in texture on your first ever bite and not going to be a perfect dupe for that denser rice quality, but still enjoyable. :) Make sure you have a strainer!

The pricing and quality of this product make it a household staple for me. I just wish the liquid could be drained more effectively, but give the grain size, it's hard to strain the rice without losing a lot of it in the process.

It’s real rubbery. It may be good in a stew, but I can’t get past the texture. It doesn’t have a flavor at all, so you could possibly flavor it up.

Basically flavorless and with an odd texture (similar to calamari maybe). You're not eating these for the flavor and texture though. Also, they clear you out and look exactly the same as they did going in.

Perfect addition to soup without the carbs or calories.
