A great daily tinted moisturizer!

I wear this tinted moisturizer almost every single day. I really like the fact that it has SPF in it. It’s pretty thick, so it applies to your face thicker than some other alternative options. A little goes a long way so this bottle lasts a really long time. It seems like the best application is just dabbing it lightly on your face and then blending it in with a sponge or beauty blender. I still use regular moisturizers prior to using this product so this is more of a concealer foundation use for me. I have it in the shade FAIR, however I feel like this is a little bit darker than most products that are fair. My skin is a tanned light-medium for most products and this FAIR tinted moisturizer matches those shades.

Good coverage

This cream has pretty good coverage, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and it’s not greasy feeling like some tinted moisturizers. One drawback: I have found that in the winter when my skin feels dry, I have to mix this with another moisturizer, otherwise it tends to settle into fine lines and emphasize any drier areas.

Best option I’ve tried so far!

Posted   by Amy from TACOMA, Washington
In an effort to avoid spending a small fortune on BeautyCounter’s to Ted Dew Skin, I’ve tried one other natural, tinted moisturizer with SPF to compare to this one: the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Times Hydrating Gel Cream. I prefer W3ll People by far. I have fair skin that shows redness. Here are my observations so far: 1. It has more coverage than BM, as in the tint. This product is a thicker than the BM, and therefore evens out and hides my reddish skin tones more effectively. It is not as dry, though, as the BM, which I preferred. 2. Because the tinted coverage is better, it means this product is thicker and more difficult to spread on. I don’t mind this, but some people do. If you want decent SPF coverage and tinted coverage, it’s gonna be on the thicker side. I expected this. The BM option is definitely lighter and more dry on your skin, which I loved! But less coverage, so the lightness of the BM cream comes with a trade off. 3. If you want to spread it easier, buy the recommended Serum and apply first. I have been using the serum first, and it is very effective in helping spread the moisturizer. In general the serum is bomb. 4. There is minimal smell to it. The BM option has a slight smell, minimal as well. They are equal in this aspect. The WP serum is very smelly, my husband thinks I’m using CBD oil! Lol. 5. If it weren’t for THIS REASON I would probably go with the lighter BM option on most days when I just want some SPF but very light tint coverage.... the BM cream makes me break out! This product does not! After comparing the ingredients closely, the BM cream uses titanium dioxide as the active ingredient for the SPF, however, this product uses zinc oxide for the active SPF ingredient. I think this is probably the reason why my skin reacted to the BM but not this product. The titanium and zinc are the two active ingredients that are used for natural SPF coverage. I just don’t think the titanium is a good option for me. I have zinc sunscreens, and my skin has been fine with those. Just an observation, but I hope it helps users understand potentially why certain natural products make them break out and others don’t. Always read the ingredients!

This is my favorite tinted moisturizer. I am sad it has been out of stock so much recently. It has nice light coverage. It gives an even look to my skin while not being heavy. I have sensitive skin and this has not made me break out at all.

Fine tinted moisturizer

It is pretty thick like other reviews say, and doesn’t have great coverage, but it’s really nice if you’re just out and about running errands and don’t want to put on a full face of make up!
