I use in my bin when cleaning out my guinea pigs pen , the piggies are in a huge open pen which I use re-useable puppy pee pads but for their little houses I use care fresh which is paper/wood pulp from recycled paper , which absorbs urine/water & gets heavy . I have an old diaper pail I use & these fit in it perfect & these hold up well to the heavy soiled pulp , which I change their bedding every other day so , a lot goes into the bag weekly & so far no leaks or breakage , will continue to buy & love the fact they are reclaimed plastic so helping the planet also .

On my list of re-orders! I dislike plastic so try and be intentional with my use. I love its recycled and the bags are good quality and thickness. Price is on point.

Of course I try to minimize how much goes to the landfill (we compost, a lot) but biodegradeable bags in an anaerobic environment... just creates more greenhouse gas. At least with these bags, I know I'm not creating more plastic waste (and they ship with minimal packaging - just the paper band you see in the image)
