this was my first time buying olive leaf from a store brand as opposed to a 'doctor recommended' brand. These olive leaf capsules smell every bit as potent as what I'm used to. I think the capsules are themselves are a bit smaller than my usual brand, giving a smaller dose- but I see that as a benefit. then you won't overdo it and can always take more if needed. love the glass bottle

I take these almost daily for my immune system and they have been a wonderful way to help prevent sickness.

This is an essential school supply, or for times at work when you have a project culminating in-person that you can't miss or hold on zoom. This brand has the smell I have noticed with capsules that work well. I will preemptively take Olive Leaf during finals even if I don't feel a tickle in my throat yet. It doesn't stand up to direct covid exposure, like a two hour class with someone who ends up testing positive (no way of knowing if it helped discourage other mild exposures or recovering), but I have been the only person in a class to not get someone's cold and the only person at work to not get the flu at times when I was taking this and was vaccinated for everything except flu. I don't use it daily, because my sense has been to save my tolerance, and because I take a little extra on the first day if I get really miserably, feverishly sick. In those cases, I can literally feel it wear off and my symptoms come back until I take more. I have tried other herbs and don't get that level of relief even when anticipated so it seems to be more than a placebo effect. For people who want to use it more, I would do some research or follow more general acute herbal guidelines of two weeks on and at least two weeks off. You can always ask a professional if more often is right for you and/ or read some studies as I do before starting a supplement.
